Are there any free online instructions to making dog bows?

I have looked and looked, but can't find anything good. I'd prefer instructions with pictures. I have a 6 month old yorkie and I've just been pulling the hair up with a band and tying ribbon around it, but that doesn't work very well, it takes her about 20 seconds to get the ribbon out and then she's left with a crooked clump of messy hair. The band stays in, but most of the hair is out. Although very cute to observe this, I'd rather figure out a way so they stay in her hair.

Nope, I couldn't find any either! I did see instructions one time in a library book..I think it was a Shih Tzu book..

I did find the DVD on many doggy how-to's for $20, but that is far from free..

It is hard to write without illustrations to show you how to make bows, but what you could do is check with a large library and find a book with illustrations and directions and practice making them from there. There are websites selling books with bow instructions but the library is free!
