Does she bolt her food? (eat it in an instant) ---My dog does that and gets sick. I bought him this food dispenser that he has to roll around and it only lets a few kibbles out at a time so he has to eat slowly. Might work. The quality in this case shouldn't be the issue but maybe your dog just doesn't sit well with this food. My dog breaks out from his allergies in Nutro lamb and rice but is fine with purina one... go figure

Is she eating right after she's been running around? any chance of anything being stuck in her throat/stomach/etc?

If you have recently switched dog foods that could be to blame. My dog will throw up sometimes if he eats the grass outside, so beware of that too. If it happens for more than 2 days, she might be sick and you need to take her to the vet.

The answers you've already received are good ... however Germans are renowned for having icky tummies and so it could be either quantity or quality ... of course they will eat just about anything you give them, so you must be responsible for the amount and quality of the food .... try a little less food and perhaps biscuit supplements ....

Might be worth check with the vet too .....

No, sorry, Nutro Max is not a good quality food... It's not the worst food out there, but I wouldn't rank it in my top 10..

I would suggest checking out this site and finding a better quality food and then making the changeover gradually to avoid stomach upset.

.if you have recently switched dog food make sure she is not allergic to anything in it!
