One dog bites the other!?

we are taking care of my bro's dogs. one of the dogs, alexi, gets really defensive of her chewies and just in general of her "personal space bubble", and she attacks my puppy poodle trixi. she tore out her bow in her hair, tore out some hair of her ear, and we just discovered that her ear was bleeding on the end, such as alexi "pierced" her ear.

any suggestions? should we take alexi to the vet? what is wrong you think?

If the wound wont stop bleeding, take your poodle to the vet.

if it does, just try to clean up your dogs ear.

Dogs get very teritorial with most things they care a great deal about.

Sometimes this needs to happen for the other dog to get the message. I'd be willing to bet your poodle won't be trying to take her toys anymore.

Some dogs are very selfish when it comes to "their" stuff. As for your poodle I would try and keep them in different rooms so Alexi doesn't do anything else to her.

If it's serious, go see the vet. maybe he just needs more attention. =)

dog is friendly , dont poodle beacuse dog defesive it selft, maybe attact who poodle, give the food, dog happy to eat in return is your best friend, about bite wash with soap n go to the doctor

this will often happen when animals stake out their territory (so to speak)- as far as the wound goes if there is any sense of comfort see the vet- if you even remotely think there's a chance of infection to -the vet--

YES TAKE YOUR POODLE TO THE VET, THEY MIGHT NEED TO GIVE YOUR POODLE SOME MEDICINE. HE/SHE MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN AN INFECTION, OR A DEEP WOUND.
